Accessibility
Travel advice should be for everyone. So should the site it lives on.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, so ReviewMyItinerary works with screen readers, keyboards, voice control, zoom and other assistive technology.
What we do
- Every form field has a clear label, and errors are announced, not just shown in color.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Text meets WCAG color contrast, and pages reflow on small screens and when zoomed.
- Maps always come with a text version: every place in an itinerary is listed in words, and you can add places to your travel map by typing instead of tapping the map.
- We test new pages with automated accessibility checks before they go live.
Things we’re still working on
- Itineraries and feedback are written by travelers, so we can’t guarantee every post is clear or complete.
- The interactive maps are easiest with a mouse or touch. The typed alternatives above do the same job.
Tell us what’s not working
