What we collect
- Your account details: name, email and password (stored encrypted).
- The hometown you give us, which we show next to your itineraries and feedback.
- Trip dates, if you add them. Exact dates are private: other people only see the month. If you opt in, we use them to send you tips before, during and after your trip, and you can opt out anytime.
- What you post: itineraries, comments, votes and reports.
- Files you upload to create an itinerary. We read them to build your draft and don’t keep the file.
What’s public
Itineraries and feedback are public and may appear in search engines and AI assistants. Your first name, hometown and whether you’ve been to a place are shown with your posts. Your email is never shown.
Who helps us run the site
We use trusted providers for hosting, our database and AI features (Anthropic’s Claude reads uploaded plans, drafts itineraries and checks comments for rule-breaking content).
Your choices
You can edit or delete your itineraries and comments at any time, or ask us to delete your account.
